January In Review

Wow! January was such a busy month in South Lake Tahoe Real Estate.  There were 47 homes sold in the City and County over the past 30 days.  The smallest home (with a foundation) was a tiny one room home on Tata for $175,000.  And the most expensive home sold was 1984 Venice Blvd for $825,000.

But my favorite home that came on to the market this month was 1529 Snow Mountain.  It is in a fantastic neighborhood, Mountain View Estates.  This neighborhood has been rebuilt since the Angora Fire in 2007 that destroyed the majority of the homes all along the Angora Ridge.  Consequently, many of the homes are spacious, contemporary, and have views that were unavailable before the fire.  This makes the Mountain View Estates one of the most desirable places to live in South Lake Tahoe.
